Your profile is already telling a story. Make it the right one.
Learn the fundamentals in six fast missions, pass the Career Ready Check, then enter a LinkedIn-style game where your photo, headline, posts, comments, connections, and follow-up choices change your score.
Use AI as a coach, not a fiction writer.
Every prompt below is copy-ready and requires the student to fill in real facts. The AI is told not to invent achievements, employers, skills, numbers, or relationships, and to proofread spelling, grammar, capitalization, and punctuation before returning an answer.
Train before you play.
Complete the six Bootcamp missions and pass the Career Ready Check. The game uses the same skills, but now your decisions affect profile strength, visibility, trust, and career momentum.
Built to help students stop treating career-building like something that starts senior year.
CareerLink Quest is an interactive teaching game about professional identity, networking, digital judgment, and career momentum. It is designed to make students practice the actual behaviors that turn a quiet profile into a useful professional presence.

Ibrahim “Abe” Baggili, PhD
Roger Richardson Professor, academic leader, cybersecurity researcher, and founder of the Baggili Truth (BiT) Lab at Louisiana State University. This project grew from a simple idea: students should practice building professional visibility, judgment, and relationships before they urgently need a job.
Signal over fluff
Students learn to show skills, evidence, curiosity, and direction instead of relying on generic “hard-working student” language.
Networks need judgment
Not every request should be accepted. The game teaches verification, relevance, mutual context, and safe link behavior.
Careers reward motion
Posting, following up, thanking people, asking good questions, and maintaining relationships compound over time.
How the writing analyzer works
The game uses a transparent browser-side scoring model. It looks for career relevance, specific skills and projects, evidence or results, professional tone, useful reflection, and networking value. It also penalizes obvious spam, desperation, unrelated content, excessive hashtags, and other weak signals. It is coaching—not a hiring decision or a substitute for human judgment.
Connection safety note: AI-generated images and text can be difficult to identify reliably. The game deliberately teaches students to verify profiles through multiple signals rather than assuming a person is fake from appearance alone.
8 selected high-quality MP3 tracks from Pixabay
These are the exact tracks selected for CareerLink Quest. They are offered by their creators for use under the Pixabay Content License. Good Night is the default opening track. In this packaged build, the MP3 files are deployed with the site and play from the same Cloudflare Pages domain, avoiding third-party streaming and CORS failures.
